Delivery
All orders received by 3:30 pm will be dispatched the same day, Monday to Friday. We do not dispatch goods on Saturday, Sunday, or Bank holidays.
All deliveries are made by FCX with a time frame of next working day to be delivered to your provided address on the Isle of Man.
Please note that the delivery date is NOT GUARANTEED.
Our courier company, FCX requires that a safe place (or neighbour’s address) is specified at checkout, should the recipient not be at home at the time of delivery as our boxes do fit through letter boxes.
If the recipient is not home and safe place as been specified, we would have to charge a further £4.50 each time our courier company would need to go back.
To avoid this happening, our courier company would attempt to leave the shipment in a safe place, put a card through the door to advise where the goods have been left and confirm delivery by taking a picture of where your package was left as proof.
We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available or due to the recipient failing to divert order to a safe-place or neighbour.
Furthermore, please note that by leaving instructions for a delivery to be left in a safe place, it is not the responsibility of Belgian Confectionery Boutique if it goes missing and a replacement/refund will not be considered.
Delivery is charged at £5.60 Monday to Friday or £10.39 on a Saturday.
Secure Packaging
We use environmentally friendly packing to ensure your order is delivered to you in perfect condition. All orders are wrapped in either tissue, craft paper or an appropriate cushioning material to hold the item in place and prevent it being knocked around causing damage. Our luxury gift boxes not only look beautiful but also provide a hard firm protective casing for your chocolates.
Hot Weather Dispatch
Hot weather with high ambient temperature are not ideal conditions to dispatch chocolate.
While our dispatch and storage facility are temperature and humidity controlled, once your order leaves us with our couriers it is subjected to temperature fluctuations.
We do not accept responsibility for an order being left in the sun or heat and all orders dispatched in hot weather or high ambient temperatures is at your own risk.
Click & Collect
Click and collect orders must be collected in-store. If you need a set date for collection, please select your requested collection date when ordering.
Items we do not ship
Please note that we DO NOT ship gift cards.
These are sent by email. Once purchased the value of the Gift Card will be added to your personal Gift card Account. If you have funds in your Gift Card Account, you will notice that the amount now shows in the Shopping Cart box and provides a link to a page where you can send your Gift Card by e-mail.

Refunds
If you are in any way dissatisfied with our products or our service, we will always do our best to ensure that we resolve any discrepancy to your satisfaction. You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched, and we will issue a refund.
We may ask for any damaged goods to be returned, so that we may investigate the damage, we will refund the original cost of the product or send out a replacement to you, once we have received the original damaged order and have investigated your complaint. We do not offer refunds for the late arrival of chocolates as delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed.
